What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is The Little Mermaid.
What is your favorite children's book?
Nancy drew. I love investigating, finding clues and solving mysteries.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toy was my little kitchen set.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My parents. Through difficult times they made sure to provide for me, gave me all the tools that I needed to be able to provide for myself.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Cooking, gardening, swimming, yoga, hiking.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I believe children are our future and we need to do our best to protect that future. This is why I am very keen on promoting wellness and preventive care.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I have worked in several countries, with different populations, know multiple languages and I respect different cultures and beliefs. This, in addition to my strong medical background allows to me connect with parents, children and families and help them according to each of their personal needs.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
Every child is different and has their own special needs. Based on that principle- all children cannot be grouped together, instead each child should be approached differently, and their plan of care should be tailored to their specific needs.
