Growing up I lived in a low-income household and my mom had to use Medicaid/CHIP for my siblings and I to recieve medical care. Seeing the challenges we faced with getting health care and dental care made me determined to get a career were I could get good insurance. I always had a passion science, nutrition, and medicine. I also grew up taking care of children as I am the oldest of my four siblings. I knew I wanted to become pediatrian after my first rotation in medicial school in the nursey. Since then, I have loved getting up the morning and being able to take care a wide range of children from young to small.

I am able to relate with people young and old with my friendliness and compassion for others.
