Who is your greatest inspiration?
Martin Luther King, Jr. He made positive changes to our society through peaceful means despite great personal risk.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Mountain biking and swimming, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I feel that being able to watch children develop from a completely dependent infant to an independent young adult is one of the greatest privileges there is. If I can help to guide families through that journey, then I feel honored.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I want to listen to the concerns of both my patients and their families and have a conversation around what can help them get to their best place related to their state of health and well-being. I always try my best to clearly communicate and make sure all questions are answered.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
Our office is ADA compliant, and especially when a child has special needs I will do everything in my power to advocate for them and their family.
