My favorite animated movie is Toy Story.

My favorite children’s book is Corduroy.

My favorite childhood toy was a Cabbage Patch Kids doll.

My mother! She raised myself and three siblings all on her own, working multiple jobs. She migrated to this country at young age of 17, learned to speak English. She put me through college and proved to me, if you put your mind to it, it can be done.

I enjoy spending time with my children and husband. We enjoy traveling, learning and appreciating new cultures, foods and places. We enjoy going to baseball games, GO ASTROS! Summer time is our favorite time of the year to make new memories.

On a daily basis, I am inspired by the resilience and positivity children display. Their ability to navigate challenges reminds me of the importance of appreciating life's everyday moments. I strive to create a fun and welcoming environment for my patients, and I enjoy using age-appropriate humor to help children feel comfortable- fortunately, my jokes are usually a hit with them!

I build strong relationships with families by approaching them with empathy, understanding, and respect. As both an immigrant and a parent of two children, I can relate to many of the challenges and concerns families face. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with patients and caregivers, listen attentively to their concerns, and provide compassionate, family-centered care.
