What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is The Croods.
What is your favorite children's book?
Guess how much I love you because I used to read it to my nephews when they were little.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Cabbage Patch dolls.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My grandmother was one of my biggest inspirations, she was and EKG technician and showed me what its like to help others.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
My hobbies and interests outside of work include spending time with family and working out, especially CrossFit.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I previously worked in the NICU and enjoyed the babies and wanted to continue to see the outcomes of the patients I used to work with. Also the joy of witnessing the developmental milestones throughout there childhood and then becoming adults is rewarding.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I treat all my patients like they are my family. They want to be heard and treated with empathy and that is what I try to do.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
We have large rooms for patients with wheelchairs or walkers.
