What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the medical field, but even more so to working with children. I’ve never been able to imagine a future that didn’t involve both. Pediatrics feels like the perfect blend of my passions—medicine, growth, and the unique energy that comes with caring for kids of all ages. I love the opportunity to watch children grow, meet developmental milestones, and overcome health challenges with resilience. Each age group brings its own joys and learning opportunities, and I find fulfillment in being a part of their journey at every stage. Pediatrics isn’t just a specialty for me—it’s where I feel I can make the biggest difference.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
One of my greatest strengths is my easygoing nature, which allows me to connect with patients and families in a genuine and comfortable way. I strive to create an environment where families feel heard and supported, and I take pride in my ability to listen with empathy and understanding. I recognize how important trust and communication are in pediatrics, and I work hard to build strong, respectful relationships. Additionally, being fluent in Spanish has been an invaluable asset, especially in serving our diverse community. It allows me to break down language barriers, build deeper connections, and ensure that families receive the care and information they need in a language they’re comfortable with.
