Answers to your nebulizer questions
What is a nebulizer treatment? And what does a nebulizer treatment do? If your child experiences respiratory flare-ups, you probably have a lot of questions — and want to ensure that your child has as few flare-ups as possible. A nebulizer treatment delivers medication as a fine mist, allowing it to reach your child’s lungs and airways directly.
Whether your child needs in-office nebulizer treatments, an at-home nebulizer machine, or both, MD Kids Pediatrics provides the resources you need to help them breathe easier.
Convenient bilirubin checks for babies
Babies with high levels of bilirubin are at risk of severe jaundice. But heel-prick blood tests are not the only way to test your baby’s bilirubin levels. A bilirubin machine uses a light beam to measure bilirubin levels in your baby’s blood through your baby’s skin, which is a non-invasive and painless option.
In addition to providing on-site testing at select locations, MD Kids Pediatrics works with families and vendors to coordinate bilirubin machine delivery for at-home care. Ask your local office to learn more.
