What is your favorite children's book?
One of my favorite older children’s books is Charlotte's Web by E. B. White. I love it because it teaches important lessons about friendship, kindness, and loyalty in such a heartfelt way.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Legos and Barbie dolls!
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My mom. She has always been a source of inspiration. I admire her resilience
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I was inspired to work in pediatrics because I genuinely enjoy building connections with children and their families while supporting their growth and development. I am passionate about early childhood development and believe that providing compassionate care and education at a young age can have a lasting impact on a child’s overall well-being. It is an honor to support parents through education, reassurance, and advocacy. Being able to contribute to a child’s health journey in a positive way is what makes pediatrics so meaningful to me.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I strive to create an environment where both children and parents feel comfortable, heard, and respected. I understand that pediatric visits can sometimes feel overwhelming for families, so I focus on building trust through patience, active listening, and clear education tailored to each family’s needs.
I build positive rapport by connecting with children at their level, helping them feel safe and engaged during visits, while also ensuring parents feel included in every step of the care plan. Families appreciate my approachable personality, and commitment to treating every patient with kindness
