What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is The Lion King.
What is your favorite children's book?
Who Wants a Hug by Jeff Mack. This has been my daughter's favorite book to read. I love this book because it uses humor and simple storytelling to teach children about empathy, kindness and emotional connection.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Barbie dolls.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration is my children! They remind me daily of joy, curiosity, resilience and the importance of showing up with love and patience.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children and family, especially doing simple things together like reading and being outdoors.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I am inspired to work in pediatrics through young adulthood because I enjoy caring for patients as they grow and change over time. I love being part of their journey, helping create calm and positive experiences in healthcare and supporting them as they grow in confidence and independence.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I bring a calm, compassionate approach that helps patients of all ages feel comfortable and respected. I focus on meeting patients where are are developmentally and emotionally and take time to listen to both patients and families. I build positive rapport by being approachable, patient and consistent and by creating an environment where families feel heard, supported and included in care decisions.
