My favorite animated character is Tiana.

My favorite book is The Little Prince because it is very relatable for both children and adults.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Barbie dolls were my old time favorites.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My parents are my greatest inspiration due to the fact that they moved to a new country in order to provide a better future for my siblings and self
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy hiking with my dog, travelling to new places, spending time with my many nieces and nephews, trying new food joints, and beach time
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
What I love most is that kids are the most motivated patients you'll ever meet. They aren't interested in the drama of being sick; they just want to know when they can go back to the playground. Helping them get back to those 'kid moments' gives me a sense of purpose that I haven’t found anywhere else.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I build rapport with families by acknowledging that they are the experts on their child. I make it a point to say, 'You know them better than anyone; tell me what you're seeing at home.' This builds immediate trust because they feel heard, not just lectured. I also try to involved the child in their care such as asking them what hurts or questions they have.
