What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is Lego Batman.
What is your favorite children's book?
The Box Car Children, because I remember my mom reading it to me and now I am reading it to my son.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Barbie dolls.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My sister, because she handles everything with such grace.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love to travel with my family and exploring new places.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
When I graduated nursing school I went straight into the Pediatric ED setting and spent my whole career there until transitioning to a Pediatric clinic as a FNP , I just couldn't picture caring for a different population.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
With my previous ED experience I have seen and treated so many different types of patients and talked to so many different types of families, I know this has helped me be a more compassionate provider.
