What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
We watch all things Disney; especially the princesses.
What is your favorite children's book?
Aesop's Fables is my favorite children's book. There are SO many good life lessons contained in those pages.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
LEGOS! They have always been my favorite toys. You can still find them on my shelf in my office to this day.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
I am inspired daily by watching my own children. They remind me how I should be living my life.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
As a family, we enjoy traveling the world. As an individual, I mostly enjoy writing and playing music as well as fishing and hunting.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I enjoy serving children and watching them learn and grow.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Being a parent helps me to be a better pediatrician. By understanding the perspective of parents, children are better served. Plus, I am still somewhat of a kid myself (even as a middle-aged man) and enjoy their outlook and sense of wonder. Being in the room, in the moment, with kids and their parents is the best part of the job.

Each child requires specific accommodations in order to be able to understand their unique needs.
